MOAB
After bringing the Bridgeshark to bridge maintenance engineers, Debris Free received calls for a larger solution- a Bridgeshark for the largest drift problems. To meet this need, we developed the Mother Of All Bridgesharks, or the MOAB. Specifications.
The MOAB can be strategically placed in rivers to turn and deflect the largest trees and direct them to the open spans of the structure. The MOAB requires a round steel pile to be driven to 25 ft in appropriate locations and can be stacked in multiples.
We have recently developed a collapsable fin design for the MOAB system- click here for more information!

MOAB Collapsable Fin
Out of a desire to obtain greater RPM from MOAB systems, Debris Free has developed a collapsable fin for the system.
When closed, the fins create an armor plating for direct impact of drift. When open, they can propel the MOAB faster to create a larger wake to protect the pier.
These fins are currently in place on units on the Sacramento River, California, shielding a dock.
